Fish Gotta Swim Editions is a small, international press run by Theresa Kishkan in Canada, and Anik See in The Netherlands. It specializes in novellas and other innovative prose forms, published in visually attractive, limited print runs. We believe these forms should be well-represented, and not ignored because publishers are convinced they aren’t popular enough to invest in.
Fish Gotta Swim Editions combine decades of writing, editing and design experience in books that are lovely to read, and hold.
Theresa Kishkan is the critically acclaimed author of 12 books of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, most recently Winter Wren (2016) and another novella, Patrin (Mother Tongue Publishing, 2015). She lives near Pender Harbour, northwest of Vancouver.
Anik See is a Canadian writer and independent radio documentary maker living in The Netherlands. She is the author of four books, and produces award-winning radio for public broadcasters such as the CBC, ABC, Radio Netherlands Worldwide and Monocle.
